between 28 and 38 weeks pregnant and the adult that will provide support
during their birthing. We've had everyone attend---grandmothers,
husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, aunts----just bring whoever is going
to stand by your side while you labor and birth--everyone and anyone is
welcome! In this workshop you will learn yoga-based skills that will
support excellent communication and comfort during labor, birthing and
those first few weeks with your new baby. Whether this is your first
baby or your fourth, every birth is unique. This workshop will support
your other childbirth preparation classes or can be used as a
stand-alone preparation for childbirth. Our birth philosophy is that
EVERY BIRTH IS SACRED and regardless of your birth plan or the way that

YOGA and FITNESS for NEW MOMS and BABIES
POSTNATAL CLASS SCHEDULE
This schedule is
valid from January 6, 2010 through March 2010. We offer one Mom & Baby Fitness and one
Mom & Baby Yoga class every week. No pre-registration is required
and you can just drop-in. Sometimes, babies can be cranky during their
first class experience or demand to nurse more often because they are in
a new place with new smells and sounds and people. Give it a chance!
We haven't met a baby yet that didn't warm-up to the experience over a
couple of weeks and moms have a great time no matter what.

Mom & Baby Fitness
Amy Kreger-Boynton
teaches this unique fitness class for moms with babies up to when they
start to walk around. A combination of yoga and pilates, this class is
perfect for new moms who want to tone the body, lose weight and gain
core strength. No experience is required and all moms and babies love
this chance to stretch, strengthen, breathe and get moving on their
mat. You will feel great, have wonderful energy and enjoy this time
with your little one. Perfect!
Mom & Baby YogaStretching, strengthening, healing and
relaxing: yoga for moms and babies up to one year of age together. We
start with a series of yoga poses and breathing for baby. Yes, babies
can do yoga and they LOVE it! After this focus on baby, we do a short
practice of yoga, stretching and relaxation for moms. This is a very
gentle class with an emphasis on bonding, helping baby relax and giving
moms a chance to stretch, breathe and start to build strength and ease
in the body after giving birth.
